Grip-Tite 00103 Review: Grip-Tite 00103 7-Piece Metric Super Socket Set. I purchased this set based on the premise it would remove rounded bolts. Recently, I put it to the test and it failed MISERABLY! The problem is that the inner ring that holds the metal strips (within the socket) is made of plastic. When I applied force on the rounded bolt using the special socket, the plastic ring twisted and came out of it's place. Not only did it not remove the bolt, but now the socket cannot be used.
